A free JetBrains AI alternative for VS Code
VibeFree is a free AI coding agent for VS Code. Comparing it to JetBrains AI, the biggest difference is the editor: JetBrains AI works inside IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, WebStorm, and other JetBrains IDEs, not VS Code, and its Pro plan costs $10/month in credits.

If your team works in a JetBrains IDE, VibeFree is not on the table at any price - there is no JetBrains plugin and none is promised here. The comparison is only useful in one direction: if you are already in VS Code, or deciding between the two ecosystems, JetBrains AI costs $10 a month in credits on top of the IDE licence and VibeFree costs nothing in VS Code. Anything else is comparing tools that cannot be installed in the same place.
What VibeFree does not do

Most of them also have a free tier, and the column says so - what it does not give is the current cap, because vendors retune those far more often than they change a price.
